An adult female Grasshopper Warbler (Locustella naevia) in the hand of a licensed ringer, Ardeer, North Ayrshire , taken by David Palmar. Formerly classified under the broad warbler family Sylviidae, they are now recognised as part of family Locustellidae, (named after their repetitive trilling song which sounds like a loud grasshopper).
