Glasgow - Broomhill, Jordanhill Claythorn and Bingham's Pond
Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) on Broomhill Allotments, Glasgow. In the wild, Red foxes are omnivorous, feeding on small mammals, birds, frogs, earthworms and carrion, as well as berries and fruit. This one looks a bit thin, which may be a reflection of its uncertan way of life in the city, where they also raid rubbish bins and eat take-away left-overs, which may not be any better for foxes than they are for humans!
