Hybrid crow on Great Cumbrae, North Ayrshire. There are grey patches on it like a Hooded Crow (Corvus cornix) but the grey patches are not as extensive, and the bird may be a hybrid between a Hooded and a Carrion Crow (Corvus corone).

There are grey patches on it like a Hooded Crow (Corvus cornix) but the grey patches are not as extensive, and the bird may be a hybrid between a Hooded and a Carrion Crow (Corvus corone). In this picture the nictitating membrane which protects the eye can be seen.
